Having made his debut as a 3yo on the flat last August, he went on to run with merit over hurdles, including finishing 2nd in a 2m handicap hurdle at Doncaster only beaten just over 2 lengths. He was also a good 4th in a 2m hurdle at Wetherby, staying on well from 2 out suggesting a step up in trip will bring about more improvement. He later felt the effects of his fairly busy campaign but as a result he now looks very well handicapped over hurdles and also on the flat.

Furthermore, his pedigree is top notch, being a half-brother to 6 time winner Getabuzz, who progressed well with age to reach a handicap mark of 132 over hurdles, while his dam Ailincala was also a 5 time winner and later maturing sort who finished fourth in Listed company on the flat.

When you add in that his other half-brother Little Bruv is a 4 time winner over jumps in Italy and winner of the Grande steeplechase de Milano (Grade 1) last year, his pedigree suggests there is much better to come from this still unfurnished 4yo. He is now enjoying a month or two in the paddocks before coming into training, so will be ready to start off at the beginning from September onwards and we would be surprised if he is long in winning!
