Point of Principle is an exciting 3yo juvenile bumper prospect. His pedigree is top notch, with his dam L’Ancresse being one of the leading 3yo fillies of her year finishing 2nd in the Breeders Cup and 2nd in the Irish Oaks, as well as 4th in the Irish Guineas.
Point of Principle is by Rip Van Winkle, the Galileo stallion who won the Juddmonte, Sussex Stakes, Queen Elizabeth II etc. He is therefore a half brother to dual Listed winner Chamonix (over 1m4f) while his full sister was a 1m4f winner in France last year for Andre Fabre.
He was unraced for Coolmore/Michael Stoute having been a bit immature as a 2yo, but he has now been gelded and having been turned away for the summer is in full training. He has the athleticism to be a very nice bumper performer/novice hurdler while with his pedigree there is a chance he could be top class.
There are 10 shares of 10% each at £1,250 and then £185 per month fixed for training & racing.
